Director, Data Analytics and Product Development
Dianne Munevar, MPP, has over 10 years of experience using data-driven strategies to help organizations align their goals of providing the highest quality of care while balancing spending and costs. She's worked with clients across the healthcare spectrum, from federal and state policymakers and life science companies to health plans, providers, foundations and patient advocacy groups. Her skills and passion are in all things related to population health—from strategy and analytics to workforce development and patient engagement. Dianne's entrepreneurial spirit coupled with her analytic skills help clients think through and plan for the tricky transition from volume-based payment to value-based care delivery and payment models.
Prior to Avalere, Dianne was a health services researcher at RTI, International where she managed multi-year demonstrations funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to reform Medicare payment for acute hospitals and post-acute care providers. Conducted interviews and in-service trainings of management and clinical staff in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and home health agencies (HHAs) to understand resource utilization. She also provided technical support for an evaluation of diabetes management programs in Boston community health centers, and led Spanish-speaking focus groups to understand patients’ needs and gauge patient satisfaction with care coordination.
Dianne earned her Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and her BA from Colgate University.
