Garth Graham is president of the Aetna Foundation and an associate professor of medicine at the University of Connecticut. Previously, he was deputy assistant secretary in the US Department of Health and Human Services, where he led the Office of Minority Health. Graham has been assistant dean for health policy and chief of health services research at University of Florida School of Medicine and was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. His articles on health disparities have been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Health Affairs, and Circulation. He was named Distinguished Millennium Visiting Scholar at Columbia University and has served on many boards
