Amanda Martin, MHA

Amanda is the Executive Director of the Center for Rural Health Innovation located in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. As Executive Director, Amanda helped establish and grow a school-based telemedicine program from three pilot sites to an 80+ site program in six rural school districts, which she now supervises. Amanda's areas of expertise cover a wide range: from day-to-day equipment troubleshooting to program design and implementation. With an extensive background in medical office management, she understands the importance & challenges of expanding healthcare access in rural communities. Amanda earned her Masters in Healthcare Administration from the Gillings School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina in 2016.
